There has been a change in the standards this year that includes a focus on proficiency in addition, subtraction, multiplication and division facts.  In Kindergarten students will focus on addition and subtraction facts including the numbers 0 through 5.  Students practice these facts in class through a variety of ways and will be formally assessed on math facts three times each year.
