PR 03813-GHS Hurricane Sandy Donation
GLASSBORO – The Glassboro High School Interact Club is collecting donations for victims of Hurricane Sandy. Items in demand include non-perishable food, hygiene supplies, blankets, paper towels, water and batteries. Donations can be taken to Glassboro High School, 550 Bowe Boulevard, Glassboro (Attn: Christina Duffey/Tina Spadafora). U.S. Marine Corps representatives will take the items to their base in Red Bank, NJ for distribution. Gunnery Sergeant Robert Putney, father of a GHS student, is helping with the distribution. In mid-November, Glassboro High School students, Putney, Lance Corporal Yexenia Santiago Morales, and Sergeant John Sharkey loaded an entire truckload of donations for distribution.
