Ever since I was a child I possessed the desire to teach and work with children. It was apparent to me early in my career that forging relationships with children was an important skill that had to be mastered in order to have students reach their maximum learning potential. The more comfortable students felt in a setting, the less apprehensive they may be in taking risks in learning new things and striving to go beyond their normal limits.
